Our history

In the 1960s, Guy Ligier, the famous Formula 1 driver, launched the manufacture of racing cars. With 40 years’ experience in sport and technology, he then turned to the production of new mobility products, having designed more than twenty Formula 1 single-seaters.

In 2010, the Ligier Group expanded and completed its offering by proposing a range of electric micro-utility vehicles for delivery professionals. This marked the birth of Ligier Professional.

In 13 years, more than 13,000 Pulse 3 and Pulse 4 electric vans have become part of the landscape, particularly in city centres, thanks to strong partnerships with the European Post Office.
