Bodywork
In the event of a collision or accident affecting your electric van, or if damage such as scratches has appeared on your bodywork, our distribution network is equipped with modern facilities to carry out the necessary repairs. Our technicians are qualified to work on vehicles of all makes, guaranteeing effective restoration of your vehicle.
ABS body panels, a technology specific to no-licence vehicles
It is interesting to note that the Pulse 3 and Pulse 4 commercial vehicles, with and without a licence, are designed using ABS sheeting. This innovative approach gives these vehicles remarkable physical, chemical and processing properties.
The use of this tough material improves the durability of Ligier Professional vehicles, making them more resistant to heat, impact and abrasion. What’s more, ABS is flexible and not brittle, which contributes to the quality appearance of your van.
When heated, this thermoplastic becomes flexible and malleable, allowing it to be moulded to the specifications of the part that will equip the electric van. Once cooled, the material retains its rigid shape.
This characteristic makes it possible to manufacture complex parts, in large series or with large dimensions, offering great flexibility in the design of professional vehicles.
Bodywork repairs
If your Ligier utility vehicle has a bodywork defect, we’re here to help with our repair services. Using modern and innovative technologies, our team can rectify or correct the imperfections on your VSP effectively.
We use a method of bonding thermoplastics that involves the use of a specific adhesive. This technique soaks the break in your bodywork with resin, creating a strong bond between the two damaged parts to fuse them together. After gluing, we proceed to sanding, repairing and colouring to return your vehicle to you in impeccable condition.
Another solution we offer is plastic welding, which is ideal for repairing the ABS bodywork on your Ligier Professional van. This method involves restoring the continuity of the material at the break by adding hot material.
Whether it’s for disbonds, cracks, dents or other cosmetic defects, our experts are on hand to discuss repair options for your professional vehicle.
